Hillary Clinton visited Senegal this week as part of her tour of Africa. She visited a health clinic and then came to Cheikh Anta Diop University to give a speech. The students at WARC all received tickets to come and see her speak. It was so interesting to be on this side of American foreign policy, and see what the rest of the world sees. She praised Senegal and their democracy as well as all of the progress that they have made since her last visit in 1998. And seeing the reaction of the Senegalese has been so intriguing, everyone here is so appreciative of her speech and the wonderful things that she had to say.
